Together with Luca Ronga, actor, theatre director and puppeteer, He have since 2007 started a journey that combines research on popular iconography and traditions with music and theatre of traditions. They worked together on several works, and they gave multiple performances at theatre festivals all over Europe. Other productions are in development.
Pulcinella baby
Puppetry show that revisits the traditional Neapolitan “guarattelle” (the Italian Punch and Judy’s puppet show); by and with Luca Ronga. Music by Umberto Giovannini.
The show was performed at major European festivals and in 2007 it won the 'Marionetta d’oro'.
Pulcinella i la nit de Sant Joan
Theatrical performance with music, songs and characters born from the collaboration between two Italian and Catalan theatre Companies; by and with Jordi Juban, Eudald Ferre, Umberto Giovannini and Luca Ronga. Sets and puppets by Brina Babini. Premiered at 'Mediterrania' - Manresa, Catalunya - in 2007 and in a year it played more than fifty performances at major European festivals.

Theatrical Performance with music, songs and characters based on the tradition of Pulcinella between Romagna and Naples by and with Luca Ronga and Umberto Giovannini. Premiered in Rimini in September 2008.

Theatrical show, with music, songs and characters based on the figure of the nineteenth-century robber Stefano Pelloni aka "The Passatore", by Umberto Giovannini, Luca Ronga and Alessandro Sistri. Original music by Gli Orsi and arrangements of traditional melodies by Alessandro Sistri. Premiered at Forlimpopoli at 'Artusiana Festival' June 2009.
