CURATED EXHIBITIONS

He was called upon to curate various exhibitions on engravings of the Twentieth century and in particular, to produce original studies on the woodcuts in the Romagna region, an area where he specialized starting from his study on art history, completed at Bologna University.
In addition to researching and curating the exhibitions and catalogues, an important aspect required by the commissioning bodies, was the design and manufacture of devices which, based on treated subjects, would broaden the exhibitions’ appeal towards a wider audience. Hence the reinvention of spatiality of environments, using the languages of lighting and stage design and the possibilities of sensory theatre.
